I want our upcoming generation to appreciate art for being something greater than just pieces of paper with colors, or sculptures that look like a pile of rocks. I want them to think critically question things, and learn about conceptualizing ideas, problem solving, and the beauty of life. I want to create a safe place that can be a portal into a realm where students can dive into art like I did and escape the drama of their everyday lives.
I want to get to know my students and have my students get to know each other. My goal is to build relationships by learning about the different belongings individuals use to identify themselves.
